Summary: Let me first preference by saying we did not end up spending the night there. Our event got out relatively early and as I was not feeling well, we decided to drive the two hours back home. My daughter was very happy to leave as she was certain there would be bed bugs… The inside was decorated nicely. Only a little bit of mold in the tub/shower… I do have to say I was very surprised at the condition of the hotel both outside and in, as it got really great ratings on hotels.com. It was obviously old and rundown. One of the reasons I picked that hotel was because of the parking. However, parking was not guaranteed but they did have a first come first serve policy. We did find a place to park. It was very close to our venue, the Herbst Theater in San Francisco. We were able to walk there and the walk was well lit. The young man who checked us in was very nice. There was pigeon poop on the stairs and stair railing and all along the walkway to the individual rooms. The door to the elevator was locked. At 9 o’clock, only one of the entryways to the stairs was opened.
