Positive: This location was beautiful for me and my family! This is one of the first times we've traveled with the baby and grandma, and this location was perfect. It was easy to check in, being on the third floor remediated a lot of the noise that could filter in from the ground floor, parking was easy, and baby/grandma loved having coffee and spending mornings on the wonderful balcony. The views are absolutely amazing and it was so soothing to be lulled to sleep every night by the sound of waves. The kitchen is well appointed with all the essentials (coffee maker, coffee, bowls, cups, etc) and you are only about 7 minutes away from the main area of Kona where most of the shopping and beachfront restaurants are. There is a quiet, conveniently located elevator to bring your things up and down from the apartment, which was a huge win for a family that has a stroller, a crib, etc. We didn't get a chance to try out the pool and hot tub, but those are also available.
