Summary: I’m not sure why this place has good reviews — it was very run down. I booked the junior suite and there was a horrible smell in the room. I tried to overlook it but the next morning I went to go take a shower and when I opened the shower door I almost threw up from the smell. There was definitely something rotting in the pipes. The rest of the hotel also had a mildew smell and the common areas were very damp. Finally, the breakfast was a buffet included in my stay, but I was being chased down for a tip by the staff who insisted I return to my room to get my credit card if I didn’t have cash to leave a tip. I am very diligent about tipping but didn’t expect to be pressured to leave one at a buffet. This place was not worth the price nor did it reflect the high quality represented in the reviews or photos. There are far less expensive hotels in the area that are much cleaner and better maintained.
