Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Warm and very comfortable cottage. Friendly hosts live next door. Well-equipped for self-catering. Location is perfect if you want to walk the best bits of Hadrian's Wall. There is a beautiful walk up the Haltwhistle Burn to it. Great public transport links and special AD122 bus for visitors. Didn't take car and didn't miss it. Pretty little town with supermarkets and take-aways just a short walk away.

Negative: Weather can be iffy in Northumberland of course, but I was OK and there is a washing machine and tumble drier if you do happen to get wet and muddy!
