Fantastic new cabin (renting beginning June 2020) minutes to nearby Glacier National Park, perched on the edge of our private creek gorge, just 1 mile from East Glacier Park! Come enjoy the peaceful views and our private waterfall! This cabin has great mountain views in one direction and the plains in the other, situated right in the foothills of the Rockies. Be to the Two Medicine entrance of Glacier National Park in 10 minutes, or the nearest park trailhead in just 5. Come unwind with us! Our cabin has a master bedroom with a queen bed accessed through a barn door from the main living space with a private bathroom. The bedroom has french doors overlooking the creek gorge that access a small, private patio- perfect for morning coffee or just relax with an afternoon beer or wine following a long day on the trails. We also provide a full size futon in the living room for additional guests. This is the perfect spot to stay for a couple's getaway, a small family's adventure, or friends meeting up to sample Glacier. We have very spotty cell phone reception, no TV, and no internet- our guests love to unplug and have an adventure! Fishing in the local area is tremendous, access to Glacier, the Lewis and Clark National Forest, and tribal lands is unparalleled from here- it is our ideal location.
The main attraction, is of course, the Park! The owners have and do work for park in various capacities (Park Ranger, guide, biologist, etc.) and have an enormous wealth of knowledge about it. In fact, my wife Chelsea and I live and work as scientists just outside of Glacier National Park, and we've started our own business to conduct science in the Glacier area! The property is about 10 acres, with a gorgeous 40 foot waterfall on it, accessible for viewing from above, or with a very steep walk down to the pool at its base. Locals frequently stop to take a look, especially in spring when it is raging.
This cabin is 200 yards from our other East Glacier rental, the Lower Falls Creek Cabin (completed spring 2019), so ask about deals for booking both or inquire about our deal to stay with us on both sides of the park. Our westside rentals include our house for larger groups and a tiny house for smaller groups.
